I have a CPA. Do I need a bookkeeper?
Usually, yes. CPAs tend to focus on taxes. Bookkeepers focus on the day-to-day record keeping and creation of monthly reports to help business owners make important financial decisions. We would work closely with your CPA or tax preparer.
What is the benefit of outsourcing vs. hiring an in-house bookkeeper?
Outsourcing your bookkeeping needs is significantly cheaper. Hiring an employee could cost $40K to $70K. Hiring a bookkeeping firm would cost way less than half that amount.
Are there any services you don't offer?
We do not prepare taxes, but we do work closely with your CPA or tax preparer. We also do not offer payroll at this time, but again, we work closely with your payroll provider.
Will our initial meeting cost anything?
No, the initial consultation is free! During the meeting we will discuss your needs, how we can help address them, and the next steps needed in order to get a quote for cleanup and/or monthly services.
How much will it cost per month?
Our pricing is customized according to your business’ needs. It depends on several different factors including the number of transactions, loans, and bank accounts your business has as well as how many employees and assets. Your monthly investment with us is a flat monthly fee with no hidden surprises.
Once I sign up as a monthly client, how often do we communicate?
There will be a lot of communication up front during the onboarding and cleanup stages as we gather documents and get to know the specifics of your unique business. Once the cleanup is complete, we will have monthly meetings to discuss the financial reports and your goals. We will reach out weekly with any questions we have regarding specific transactions. You can also reach out to us anytime with any questions you may have. We strive to create a collaborative relationship with each client.
Do you offer QuickBooks training?
Absolutely! The software can be confusing. Teaching our clients how to navigate QuickBooks is included in their monthly investment. However, if your business is small and a monthly investment isn’t in the budget yet, we can still help you get setup and familiarized in QuickBooks and review your books quarterly. Please contact us to discuss a customizable plan to fit your needs.
